Disinfection and Sterilisation

Controlling the growth and proliferation of bacteria, viruses, algae and moulds in water.

Bacteria control in water treatment

One of the biggest problems we face in water treatment is the bacteria in water. There are various types of bacteria, viruses, algae, moulds, etc. (e.g. coliforms, E. coli, enterococci, legionella, etc.) that can cause bacterial infections.

In order to eliminate and control the growth and proliferation of bacteria, we offer different solutions depending on the need and the problem we are faced with. We may either use oxidising chemicals that are dosed via dosing pumps and controlled by meters, or use UV systems, which are highly ecological and practical to use.

Methods we use

Chemical dosing

Oxidising chemicals dosed via dosing pumps and controlled by meters, sized to the system.

UV sterilisation

UV rays destroy micro-organisms in a natural physical process that leaves the organoleptic features of the water unaltered.

Monitoring and control

Customised panels for dosing chemicals and monitoring, with pH, redox and conductivity measurement.
